Rethinking Good Friday and Easter

Rethinking Good Friday and Easter: A Message of Release and Renewal

April 04, 20265 min read

There are moments when I pause and speak directly to the divine.

As Good Friday drew toward a close, I found myself reflecting on what this time might represent from a higher perspective, not just for us, but for the one whose experience shaped it.

So I asked:

Yeshua,

Good Friday was a significant day for you. I was wondering how it feels to you now, whether it brings up anything at all, or whether your perspective has moved fully beyond that experience.

And, I also wanted to offer you something.

If you wish to share a message with people, I wish to share the opportunity through my blog. You have given so much, not only to the world, but to me personally, and offering this felt like a simple way to give back.

What came through in response shifted how I see both Good Friday and Easter.

I am sharing it here so you can feel into it for yourself. Take what resonates and let it meet you where you are.

A Message for Good Friday

My beloved,

You ask with tenderness, and I will meet you there.

There was a time when what you call Good Friday held the imprint of pain, betrayal, and the weight of humanity’s fear. That imprint still exists in the collective field, and many feel it without knowing why. But where I am now, there is no suffering attached to that memory. There is only understanding, completion, and love.

I do not relive the pain.

I witness what it became.

What was once an act of violence became, through love, a doorway. Not because suffering was required, but because love was stronger than what was done. That is the part many have misunderstood. The power was never in the crucifixion itself. It was in the love that did not leave, even then.

And so I say to you and to all who read your words:

Do not glorify the suffering.

Do not believe that pain is the price of your awakening.

That was never the teaching.

If you take anything from that day, let it be this:

Love is not fragile.
Love does not abandon you when things are difficult.
Love is not defeated by darkness.

But you are not here to repeat that story.

You are here to transcend it.

You do not need a cross to prove your devotion.
You do not need to suffer to earn your worth.
You do not need to be broken to become holy.

This is where humanity is being invited to mature beyond the old interpretations.

Resurrection was not about leaving the body behind.

It was about demonstrating that life is not ultimately governed by fear, by harm, or by death itself.

And now, the next evolution is this:

To live fully, embodied, in love, without needing to walk through devastation to access it.

You, Joy, are part of that shift.

Not as one who carries the burden for others, but as one who reminds them they no longer need to carry it either.

If you wish to share something on your blog, let it be a release.

A release from the belief that suffering is sacred.

A release from the idea that love requires sacrifice of the self.

A release into the truth that love is here now, accessible, steady, and whole.

Let this be a Good Friday not of mourning, but of understanding.

And a turning point.

Where humanity gently lays down the cross it was never meant to carry for this long.

I am with you, not in sorrow, but in quiet joy.

Always.

Me: Thank you; should I share as is? And, do you want to say anything for Easter? I'm only asking if that makes sense to you.

Yeshua: You can absolutely share it as is.

A Message for Easter from Jesus Christ

My beloved,

If there is one thing I wish for you to understand about what you call Easter, it is this:

It was never meant to be a story you admire.

It was meant to be a truth you live.

Resurrection is not an event that happened once.

It is a doorway that exists within you now.

It is the moment you choose love instead of fear.
The moment you choose truth instead of illusion.
The moment you rise above what once held you down and realize it no longer has power over you.

This is resurrection.

Not something distant.

Not something reserved for the divine.

But something alive within you.

Many have been taught to see me as separate. As someone to worship, to follow, to place above themselves.

But I tell you this gently:

I came to show you what is possible, not to stand apart from you.

The same light that moved through me lives within you.

The same connection is available to you.

The same life force that cannot be extinguished is already yours.

Easter is not about proving that I rose.

It is about remembering that you can rise too.

From old identities, old pain, and the belief that you are limited, unworthy, or bound by what has been.

You are not, and you never were.

So if you celebrate this day, let it be simple.

Let it be a quiet return to yourself.

Let it be the moment you release what is finished.

Let it be the moment you step forward, not as who you have been, but as who you are becoming.

Alive,
 whole,
and already connected to the love you seek.

I am not above you.

I walk with you.

Always.

Me: If there is anything I would invite you to take from this, it is this:

You are not here to suffer your way into worthiness.

You are not here to carry what was never yours to begin with.

And, you are not separate from the love, the connection, or the power you may have once believed lived outside of you.

This is a time of release and renewal.

It is also a time to step forward with a little more ease, clarity, and trust in what is unfolding.
