The Difference Between Ho'oponopono and Deep Spiritual Healing

Many people discover ho’oponopono at a moment when they are searching for relief, harmony, or inner peace. It is a beautiful practice of clearing that has touched countless lives. I recommend it often because it helps soften the field and create a more open and receptive inner environment. But I have also realized that some people believe ho’oponopono and the work I do are interchangeable, as if repeating a healing phrase can accomplish the same results as a multidimensional clearing session.

These two approaches are not the same. They are not meant to replace each other. They are meant to work together.

Ho'oponopono

Ho’oponopono is a practice that shifts personal resonance. It clears the emotional charge around your own thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions. It can help dissolve tension in relationships by adjusting the inner field within which you relate. It brings your awareness back to responsibility and compassion. It is a form of spiritual hygiene that can be practiced every day.

What it does not do is reach the deeper layers that often create the very patterns people struggle with. Ho’oponopono does not access past lives, ancestral burdens, soul contracts, karmic debris, or multidimensional entanglements. It cannot clear entities, attachments, or collective energy that has become lodged in the field. It does not rewrite agreements or remove patterns that originate far beyond the conscious mind.

This is where my work begins.

Spiritual Healing and Clearing

The clearing work I do addresses the root of the issue, not the symptom. When someone comes to me, they are often carrying burdens that did not originate in this lifetime. They may be entangled in a family lineage, a past-life vow, a karmic situation, or a dynamic that has followed them across incarnations. They may feel blocked by unfinished soul contracts or by energies outside their awareness. These are not patterns a person can resolve alone simply by repeating a phrase.

My work involves identifying and clearing what is hidden, tangled, suppressed, or out of alignment with the soul’s highest path. It is more like spiritual surgery than spiritual affirmation. Where ho’oponopono sweeps the floor, my work repairs the foundation. Both are valuable. Both are needed. But they serve different purposes.

You can think of ho’oponopono as your daily maintenance. It keeps your inner environment clean, compassionate, and open. My sessions are deep-clearing, removing what you cannot see or reach and what does not resolve on its own.

A helpful way to discern what is needed is to notice whether a pattern keeps recurring even after you clear your thoughts or emotions about it. If the issue repeats despite your best efforts, it usually indicates that the root lies deeper than your personal awareness. That is the moment to seek support. It is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign that the soul is ready for real resolution.

You were never meant to do all of your spiritual work alone. Some layers require a companion who can see into the places you cannot see yourself. That is the sacred purpose of the work I do.

Ho’oponopono opens the door.

My work helps you walk through it.

If you have been doing ho’oponopono or other self-clearing practices and still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why old patterns keep returning, it may be time for deeper support. You do not have to walk through these layers alone. A private clearing session allows us to identify and resolve the root causes so you can move forward with clarity, freedom, and ease.

If you feel called, you are welcome to schedule a session or join us in Sacred Circle, where we work at a depth that personal practices simply cannot reach. Your soul knows when it is ready for more. When you listen, the path opens.
